Skincare Favourites - Body | Spring 2015.

What is going on with this crazy British weather?! My skin is not loving the constant changes in temperature and I've definitely been feeling the damage from spending a lot of time in heated rooms, over the last few weeks I've been trying out lots of different skincare products to try and stop it feeling so dry and dull, and these are the ones that I've been loving the most.

Body Shop | Strawberry Body Polish
I've been a huge fan of The Body Shop for as long as I can remember, and anything strawberry scented or flavoured is always a winner in my opinion. The body polish is a product I've been using for quite a while now, but over the last few weeks I've got into the habit of using it more regularly, and I'm really seeing a difference with my skin. I scrub this onto dry skin using a loafer before getting into the shower, paying special attention to areas that I've noticed my skin is looking a bit dry and dull. I felt the difference after just one use, but I recommend using it between two and three times a week to keep your skin looking and feeling healthy.

Soap and Glory | Righteous Body Butter
Body butters can be very hit or miss in my opinion, but this one from Soap and Glory is super rich and moisturising without feeling too heavy or oily on the skin. Again, this is another product that you can see it working straight away: I usually apply it at night after a shower and wake up with lovely, soft skin.

Neutrogena | Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
The combination of working in a bookshop, lifting weights, and lifting myself in my aerial hoop/silks class has left my hands and nails in horrible condition. I've tried a lot of hand creams lately to try and soften the skin up, but I've found that most just sit on the skin or are too light to make a difference. This one has an almost gel like feel to it at first, and you only need a small amount, but as you massage it in to your hands it really sinks in and doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky. I've been applying this twice a day; morning and night and my hands feel so much better.

Lush | Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar
I cannot believe I've been a Lush lover for so many years and never tried one of the massage bars! After trying this one, I'm definitely converted. Although it looks like a bar of soap, they warm up as you rub them on your skin and turn to the consistency of a body butter. This one is especially for achy muscles and it has a warming effect similar to Deep Heat but without the nasty smell. It is slightly more oily than the Soap and Glory body butter and not one that I'd recommend for daily use as it does take a while to soak in to the skin, but as a treat to soothe your aching muscles after a workout I absolutely love it!

Soap and Glory | Smoothie Star Body Milk
Although my skin has been needing more of an intense moisturiser lately, I've been using this lotion from Soap and Glory on the days where I've wanted something a bit lighter. Although it isn't as thick as the body butter, it still has a great effect on my skin, and I can really tell when I've missed a day using it. I think this is a product that I'm going to get a lot of use out of as the weather turns warmer and I just need a little pick me up to keep my skin feeling soft and supple.

What skincare products have you been loving lately?
