Clinique Sonic System | My Thoughts.

I received the Clinique Sonic System as a gift for my birthday after lusting after it for several months, and I fell in love with it the first time I used it.

Initially, the price put me off buying it for myself, as it is a fair bit more than I would typically spend on any skincare/beauty product, but after trying it and fully appreciating what the kit includes, I feel that the price is justified. 

I use this in the morning, with the 3 Step routine that was included with the kit, and even from the first use I could feel a difference in my skin. The green bristles are slightly firmer and are designed to be used in your T-Zone, and the small shape of the brush head makes it perfect to really get in to the corners of your nose for a deep clean, while the white bristles are softer, to be used on your cheeks in circular motions.

My skin immediately felt cleaner, softer and brighter, and it's perfect for anyone who suffers from blocked pores or acne, as it improved my skin within a week. Another thing I love about the Sonic System is how powerful it is while being so gentle on the skin. My skin is very sensitive, but it never feels sore or irritated after I've used it, and it's the perfect alternative for anyone with sensitive skin like me that doesn't like using a harsh exfoliator. 

The battery life is incredible too - I've used this almost every day since Christmas and have only needed to charge it once. It also seems very hardwearing, and although the bristles are super soft, mine still look in immaculate condition, so I won't need to buy a replacement head for quite some time. As it's so light an compact, I wouldn't hesitate to take this with me on holiday - in the set that my Sonic System came with, a silver make up bag was also included, and this is the perfect size to fit the actual brush as well as the 3 Step skincare routine.

The 3 Step routine from the Sonic System is what made me immediately fall in love with Clinque skincare - the products are amazing quality and do their job perfectly without being harsh on the skin. If you were buying the products without the brush I'd definitely recommend the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion as it's a light but powerful moisturiser that works well with all skin types - it's perfect under foundation, but is also light enough to top up throughout the day if you have any dry patches that need extra care and attention.

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Sonic System to a friend, I'm loving the effects it's had on my skin, and although it is a pricey product, the quality makes it absolutely worth it.
