Victoria's Secret Inspired Beachy Waves | Summer Hair 2015.

Most people who know me will agree that my distinguishing feature is my hair. Until recently, my ginger-with-a-hint-of-blonde hair was all one length and past my waist. I love having long hair, but it gets to a point where you can't actually do anything with it as it's too long and heavy to style, and it used to take me forever to wash and dry it. So, feeling inspired by the gorgeous Victoria's Secret Angels and their equally gorgeous, effortlessly curly locks, I decided to have the chop. As soon as I'd had my hair cut the first thing that I wanted to do was to find a 'signature' everyday look that's quick and easy but still looks well put together.

I picked up this Remington Waving Wand while it had £10 off at Boots and it's perfect for creating this look! My hair has a natural wave to it in the bottom half, so I usually leave that to do its thing, or pick up one or two sections to curl if I need a bit more texture and body. Before I start I give the lengths of my hair a spritz with the Argon Oil heat defence, and set to the lowest heat setting that still curls my hair to minimise damage, there's six different heat settings on the wand and I use the middle one - 180.
With the top section of my hair, I take sections around one inch thick, and wrap my hair around the wand away from my face (this never made sense to me when I heard other people say it, but you want to place the wand behind the section of hair that you're curling, and if its on the left side of your head wrap it around anti-clockwise, and clockwise for the right.
After I'm done curling, I tip my head upside down and spray the VO5 Plump it Up spray into the roots and rub it in - this kind of works like dry shampoo, but it gives you the volume without the white residue as it doesn't have the same oil absorbency so it's perfect for first day hair. I then spritz the Toni and Guy 3D Volumiser through the lengths just to add a bit more body and hold, and finish off with the Aussie serum through the ends to leave it soft and bouncy.
