What's in my Bag? | Spring/Summer Rucksack 2015.

Starting off with my favourite thing in my bag - this diary from Paperchase. I definitely couldn't function without a diary, and although I do use my notes on my iPhone, you can't beat taking pen to paper and seeing all of your notes for the week in one place to make you feel organised and clear minded.

The pages inside are just as beautiful as the cover, and it has so many handy sections for reminders, birthdays, to do lists, etc. and even has a 'websites and blogs' section which is absolutely perfect for planning any future posts for all us bloggers! Each week goes across a double page, and the daily dairy is plenty big enough to write any memos, appointments and work shifts and it still look neat and organised.

Another obvious essential is my Purse which was from Ted Baker, it's the perfect size for me as it just fits all of my important cards in and is big enough so that it doesn't just get lost in your bag without being too big and bulky. I'm a lover of black purses as they never seem to look dirty or scruffy, and I think that the gold hard wear adds a really pretty touch.

It's not quite summer yet here in Yorkshire, but I always like to carry a pair of sunglasses with me just in case of any rare bouts of sunshine! Sunglasses always seem to get squashed, scratched or lost by me, so these ones are just from Primark, and they were £2 including the cloth case - bargain!

You never know when a hairbrush is going to come in handy, so I always make sure I have one in my bag, just in case I want to throw my hair up into a pony on the few days a year that it's too hot to have your hair down.

Beauty wise, I have the obvious deodorant, and two lip balms - Carmex and Vaseline. The vaseline has a pink tint so its a quick way to add a pop of colour to your make up look while still moisturising your lips. It also has SPF so it's perfect for summer! I also keep a hand cream in my bag, and a little pack of tissues.

I must be the only beauty blogger who doesn't carry her whole make up bag around with her, but I just find that it makes my bag far too heavy and on the occasions that I do take it out with me, I never end up using it anyway! I always have whatever lip product I'm wearing that day, and if I'm having a break out I'll pop a concealer and powder in there too, but other than that I find that my makeup lasts really well on my skin and I just don't need to carry more beauty products.

Finally, the thing that I would never leave the house without is the little pink purse, and I'm so surprised that I haven't seen them in any other 'what's in my bag' posts or videos. I keep all of my medications in here that I might need - everyone should at least have some form of pain killers in their bag, you never know when you or someone else might need them. As you can probably see, I'm pretty much a walking first aid kit! I always make sure I have a pen, a nail file and some plasters - an essential for those new summer sandals, and finally my lucky charms that I carry with me everywhere.

The bag itself is this pretty peach rucksack from New Look (Currently £12 on the sale!), it's the perfect size and the little pockets are so handy - I usually put things that I need to be able to access quickly such as tissues, lip balm and deodorant, as they'd get lost in the main section which is surprisingly roomy. I really love the rucksack trend and I think that this colour will look gorgeous against pretty floral dresses and lots of white lace for summer, and it's big enough to fit a pack up in ready for any spontaneous picnics!
