Natural Everyday Makeup Look | Spring 2015

I've found lately I've been in a bit of a makeup rut, always using the same products every day, so I've tried to experiment a little bit and come up with a few new looks and share them with you to give you some ideas if you're also in the same position as me. For someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, I thought I should first decide on a 'natural' makeup look suitable for everyday to inspire me to be more creative and adventurous. I wanted the main focus of the look to be flawless skin, natural eye makeup and a glossy pink lip.

Face/skin

Like most bloggers, my absolute go to concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection, it has great coverage and even better staying power. I used this under my eyes, along my nose, and around my chin area where I suffer from redness and blemishes. Had I been having a good skin day, I would have skipped foundation, but today I needed a little extra coverage, and lately I have been loving the Clinique Supermoisture Makeup. Do not be put off by the name, I find it light on the skin and not at all oily or shiny. It does have a dewy finish, but can easily be mattified with a powder. The coverage is medium but very buildable, and they actually have a shade light enough for me, so any other pale girls definitely check this one out! As always I just finished it off with a little bit of Rimmel Stay Matte powder along my t-zone.

I've never been much of a bronzer girl as most I've tried just look silly against my pale skin, but the Rimmel Natural Bronzer is absolutely perfect. I used this to contour my cheeks and jawline slightly, and just lightly dusted it along all of the places the sun would naturally hit for a subtle, sun kissed glow. My favourite blush for springtime is the Benefit Dandelion blush, it's such a pretty pink, and as you can see on the pictures, it adds a lovely shimmer to your face.

Eyes

First of all, I apologise for the state of my brows, they're in desperate need of a wax! Brows is the only make up step that I would never skip as it really changes my face shape and opens up my eyes so much, and even when they're looking tragic (like they do now!) Benefit Brow-zings makes them look defined, natural, and full.

I've currently got eyelash extensions, so I didn't need to wear mascara, but I just dotted some Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil liner along my lash line to make them appear thicker and really make my eyes look bigger and more awake.

To add a little bit of colour and to make my blue eyes pop, I added the shade Trick from the Urban Decay Naked 3 pallet along my lower lash line. This works so well with bronzed skin and helps to really pull the look together.

Lips

Finally on my lips I used the Tanya Burr lipgloss in Sparkling Dewdrops. You can read my review here but it's just a beautiful light pink that's the perfect 'your lips but better' shade with a pretty sheen and shimmer that matches the Benefit blusher perfectly.
