I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking how quickly this year has gone! The saying 'time flies when you're having fun' couldn't be more true at the moment. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year, and decorating the house on the first of December has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember. This year we went on a shopping spree and bought quite a few new decorations the brighten things up a little and to mix with old traditional favourites that have made an appearance every year. I love watching videos on YouTube of other peoples festive decorations and DIY's, so as soon as I'd finished decorating I got camera happy to snap some photos to share with you. Enjoy!
And these are from the living room. We tend to stick with a red and gold theme, with a couple of older, traditional decorations thrown in. Most of these decorations have been accumulated over the years and come from a variety of places but mostly The Range, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Hobbycraft, and local garden centres.
I hope you enjoyed the photos and if you haven't yet decorated your house for Christmas, I hope this has given you a few ideas. Christmas is always the easiest time for me to blog because I'm often inspired with new things to write about in the festive period. As always, thanks for reading.
Tilly.
